Those were the days…

Those were the days…

When waking up early for college never seemed taxing.. You looked forward to each day…

When boarding packed locals was never a problem… You always had a hand helping you inside from within the train…

When bunking college did not amount to pay cuts or angry glares…

When the only thing that terrified you was when parents were summoned to college…

When the only competition was studying at the last moment and still managing to pass…

When outings meant a movie in an inexpensive theater…

When strolls on the morning beach with close friends was the best way to de-stress and worked as effective as an hour of meditation…

When you never felt the need of being in solitude….

When faking to please others was never a part of life…

When careless giggles and hands full of friendship bands were never met with cold stares…

When there were no good byes but always a see you tomorrow

When the only stress was to stay awake during lectures…

When struggling to keep in touch was not even a part of your worst nightmares…

When brunch was all about having masala pavs in canteen….

When you defined the clothes you wore and not the other way round…

When the only classes that people were divided into were geeks, nerds, wannabes, hot properties and common folks. The only religion that was followed with a vengeance was being an NM-ite

When being a part of the college fest was as great as a life event….

Those were the days when your life was all about yourself and your world revolved around your friends…The only years I want to go back in time is to relieve my college days..

Those were the times when I had the serenity to accept things I cannot change, the courage to change things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
