Will Miss You!

A heartfelt farewell…

I will miss seeing you the first thing in the morning…

However hoarse your voice, I will miss being woken up by you each morning and being put to sleep every night….

I will miss all those days when I found solace in your talks when I was stuck in traffic…

I will miss the glorious days when you reluctantly clicked me in every pose inspite of having a blurred vision yourself…

I will miss how easily you forgave me even when time and again I kept on forgetting you…

I will miss the amazing updates that you provided me and made me smile after a hard day at work…

I will miss looking at the world through your eyes…

I will miss our days in crowded trains when I clutched you tightly and instantly had a feeling of companionship…

I will miss how we spent all those days at work, silently conversing with each other and when just a blink from you would help me sheer up amidst a boring meeting…

I will miss how you reminded me the birthdays and anniversaries of colleagues and friends to save me from the embarrassment of being forgetful…

I know I should have treated you with more care and respect. You deserved every bit of it. When I look back, I realize there were times when I took you for granted. I wish I could undo it all. But I want you to know that whenever we were together, you were always cared for and it is with a very heavy heart that I have to leave you. I want you to know, no matter what, you were valued and will always be missed. The time spent with you was one of the most memorable chapters of my life.

But you have been giving a lot of trouble lately and have also betrayed my trust and respect! Hence, this farewell…
