The Happy Friday Post!

Friday has always been the best day of the week! Weekends spent shopping, sleeping, eating and lazing! OK, add a bit of cleaning and extra household chores also. But that is OK considered I am saved from the early waking up and running for the local routine. I know it seems like I am blabbering too much. It’s just the excitement speaking. No, I am not going for a holiday In Europe (yet). But I am excited because I am going on a fortnight long vacation at my mom’s! (yeah!) Conditions apply – Obliviously only if Mr. Husband does not start missing me too much and calls me in midst of the same! (fingers crossed)

Come December , people wait for Christmas and I wait for the stay at mom’s! Strange, but when I was young I used to find out reasons for going out of the house and after being married, I count days for my yearly stay at mom’s. Obviously I go many times more in the entire year, but those visits are normally weekend trips! The Long December one is purely leisure and bliss. Now, before you assume, my in laws are really sweet and co-operative people. So it’s not really that I wait for this vacation to go away from them; rather I miss mom and papa so bloody much and the wait finally being over makes me scream in elation! I am sure, each married girl will be going through the rush of emotions that I am.

This fortnight I plan to:

Sleep – Sleep like a log and never wake up. (OK! wake up only to pee! :P)

Eat – like a glutton, because my mom is the bestest cook in the world! I don’t know why but I haven’t inherited even half of her culinary skills (sigh! 😦 )

Shop – My mom and me are the best shopping partners. (Don’t sulk! You come a close second Mr. Husband)

Rest – Will not even move a finger after reaching home from office. Just get pampered. 😎

Cuddle – My dad a lot! His embrace is the best sleeping pill. 😀

Catch up with friends – I have been meaning to do it since long! And finally I will. Have already made a couple of dinner and outing plans! (wicked grin)

A fortnight of fun. A fortnight being single (almost!), A fortnight of Anticipation. Excitement. Elation. Love. Laziness. Pampering. Here I comeeeeee….

I feel like a kid on the last day of school before the vacations begin!! 😀
